Introduction 🌍

Living abroad („Im Ausland leben“) offers young people many exciting opportunities. You get to know new cultures, discover different traditions and broaden your own horizons. Especially for students in grade 10, this topic is important, as exchange programs, years abroad or later study visits are becoming more realistic.
Cultural differences can be seen, for example, in everyday school life, family life or in the way people communicate with each other. While punctuality is very important in some countries, other cultures place more value on personal relationships and flexibility.
Besides many opportunities, there are also challenges. Homesickness, language barriers or misunderstandings can make everyday life more difficult. In this course, you will practise important vocabulary and sentences to express yourselves more confidently in German about living abroad. -
