The Day

  • Target group: prospective 5th-grade students and their families
  • Enrollment period at our school: DD.MM. to DD.MM. (communicate prominently!)

🧪 Hands-On Stations3

Example: Chemistry Show

  • Location: Science room C1, every 30 minutes
  • Supervision: subject department plus 9th-grade students

Example: Programming Robots

  • Location: computer room, open from 09:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    Children control the robots themselves

New Station

  • Departments enter their offers: location, times, supervision
  • Goal: each department contributes at least one hands-on idea

🚶 Tours & Guidance2

School Tours

  • Start every 30 minutes at the main entrance, duration 40 minutes
  • Led by: school leadership, teachers, and student scouts in pairs

Advice Corner

  • School leadership and lower secondary coordination for individual questions: enter location and staffing plan
    Information materials and enrollment documents available to take away

👥 Helpers & Logistics3

Student Scouts

  • 2 scouts per tour, briefing the day before: enter names

Catering

  • Parents’ café run by the 6th grades: use a separate booking template for the cake helper list

Signage & Setup

  • Directional signs from the parking lot, station signs, setup on Friday from 2:00 p.m.

Beforehand

  • Information to local primary schools by DD.MM., website and press, posters
  • Mention the save-the-date already at the information evening

Afterwards

  • Brief evaluation: what was well received, estimate the number of visitors
    Thank the scouts and helpers
