💾 Backup and License Expiry

Backup: Export important maps regularly as JSON files, for example at the end of each school year. A backup within Edumaps is also possible via "Copy map", but the JSON file additionally sits outside the platform.

License expiry: If a school or state license expires, your maps remain fully intact. However, the storage is reset to the free quota. Save your maps as JSON files and, if needed, transfer them to another account or server.

Uploaded files are only taken over during import if they still exist on the source server at the time of import.
