🌍 Where are active volcanoes?

Worldwide, there are about 1500 active volcanoes on land. They are mainly concentrated in the Pacific Ring of Fire, an area around the Pacific, but also along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and in the Mediterranean. Some well-known active volcanic areas:
