Which AI is used?
  • The AI features use OpenAI's GPT models via the Microsoft Azure OpenAI service (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited).
    • Processing takes place exclusively in EU data centers, with the server location in Sweden.
    • No global deployment is used; the region is regularly reviewed and documented.
    • The Azure infrastructure is ISO 27001 certified.
  • For the read-aloud function, Edumaps also uses Microsoft Azure AI Speech (Text-to-Speech). The text to be read aloud is transmitted to the service and converted into audio data there. With the real-time speech output used by Edumaps, Microsoft does not permanently store either the transmitted text or the generated audio data.
