⏱️ Edit first, then read only

Students should edit the map now and later only read it, without distributing a new link.

Solution: “Read link allows editing”

- Open the map sharing dialog and click the three dots at the top right.
- Select “Read link allows editing”, click “Activate” and save.
- Copy the link with “Read Map” rights and share it.
- To end the editing phase, deactivate the option. The same link then only grants read rights.

Alternative with groups: Share first with “Edit Map”, later share again with “Read Map”. The new rights overwrite the old ones.
