All schools in the state Use is free of charge for schools, teachers and students during the term of the license.
Connection to your state login Edumaps is connected to moin.schule, VIDIS, Univention, IServ, WebUntis and Eduplaces, among others.
Dedicated instance On request, Edumaps runs on a dedicated server with its own address for your state.
Central administration Schools and school admins are created and maintained centrally.
Usage report The state can see how many schools and teachers actively use Edumaps.
Migration Existing pinboards from Padlet, TaskCards and Trello can be imported.
Onboarding Tutorials, self-study courses and a tutorial series for school admins are available.

Teachers create maps, quizzes and language courses with AI. On a dedicated instance, the module can be switched on and off.

Language module with over 60 language pairs.

Every box can be read aloud, in the language of its text.

Polls, quizzes, checklists and calendars in every map.

Each student receives their own copy of the map. The teacher sees all results in one folder.

Teachers find your state's licensed media in Edumaps and add them to their maps. License checks and playback run through your existing media library.

The Edumaps servers are located in Germany. The AI module and the read-aloud feature use Microsoft Azure in Sweden (EU).
A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, technical and organizational measures and a data protection impact assessment are available.
Only four subprocessors: Hetzner (servers), Heinlein (email delivery), GrabzIt (link previews), Microsoft (AI module, read aloud). Details in the data processing agreement (in German).
Contracts under EVB-IT are possible.
