More than 10,000 freely accessible educational media, including Creative Commons licensed and public domain media. Hosted on Edumaps servers in Germany, no tracking, available to all users after login.
Licensed Media Library
Teachers find your education service center's licensed media from Edupool Hessen, Bildungsmediathek NRW or Mesax in Edumaps and embed them in pinboards. Playback takes place at the respective provider under the education service center's existing license. Availability depends on the state or education service center license.
Matheretter Media Library
More than 2,500 learning resources for math lessons (in German): explainer videos, wiki articles, interactive programs, learning checks and worksheets, embeddable in Edumaps and accessible without an additional login. All Matheretter lessons are also available as pinboards that teachers can copy and adapt.

License models for authorities and education service centers
For school authorities, education service centers and larger education structures, there are tiered license models – from small authority and organizational solutions to education service center and state licenses. The models are based on the number of schools, user accounts, desired modules, SSO integration and support scope.
Typical variants include license models for education service centers from S to XXL as well as individual district, city or state solutions. This allows Edumaps to be introduced in line with the media development plan, the existing school portal structure and the available budget.

Privacy, scaling and operation
Edumaps is designed for use in education. Rights, access and shares can be controlled in detail. This allows central bodies to provide content without schools losing their independence.
The required information on the data processing agreement, hosting and technical operation is available for privacy reviews. Edumaps is operated on servers in Germany, works with clear access rights and is designed for school-based as well as authority-wide deployment scenarios.
When Edumaps is opened, the browser connects exclusively to Edumaps servers: no tracking services, no external fonts, no third-party scripts. This can be checked in any browser with the developer tools (“Network” tab).
AI functions are implemented with data minimization in mind. The functions are intended to support the creation and structuring of content and can be used within the framework of the respective license and privacy requirements.
